Furthermore, the cooperative department spares no effort to speed up the process of computerization of PACCs in Bihar. So far, the audit of 6,000 PACCs has been completed, and the cooperative department has been instructed to complete the audit of the remaining process by the end of the current fiscal year so that the process of implementing the process computerization can be launched.

It is reported that more than 4.35 lakh will be spent on computerization of each PACC. This plan is to be completed in three years. With this, all income-expense loans will be done online.

Recently, Union Cooperative Secretary DK Singh also visited cooperatives in Bihar and provided an update on the situation.

Readers will recall that to carry out the computerization of Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS), the government allocated the highest allocation of Rs 350 crore in the Union budget presented by the Minister of Finance of the Nirmala Sitharaman Union.

This system aims to computerize 63,000 functional PCAS, leading to an increase in its efficiency, profitability, transparency and accountability.
