Banks will remain closed for a total of twenty-one days in October due to the October 2021 public holidays. According to the Reserve Bank of India‘s (RBI) holiday calendar listing, the twenty-one public holidays are State specific holidays for different occasions.
These include regular holidays such as the second and fourth Saturday of the month and Sundays. India has public holidays which are national holidays, which apply to all states in India, as well as regional holidays, which only apply to specific states. However, online banking activities will continue to function.
